The Fire Project, is a still ongoing series that started in August 2015 and was taken in Russia around monuments with eternal fire. Printed on Hanhnemühle Photorag, gives the image a matte look and muted blacks. 

The inspiration like most of my artwork, came from the world around me. The eternal fire offered a way to capture this beautiful and dangerous element in way that other forms wouldn’t have provided me. I was able to capture the details, the softness as well as edges and most importantly shapes and forms. I hope to develop this series further and explore this element through my camera.
